Underdog Predict Review 2026

PredictionScout Score: 6.3 / 10

Underdog was the first fantasy sports operator to put real CFTC-regulated event contracts inside its app, launching prediction markets in September 2025 through a partnership with Crypto.com | Derivatives North America. Then it did something more interesting: in March 2026 it bought Aristotle Exchange — the CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse previously owned by the parent company of PredictIt — positioning itself to run its own federally regulated exchange rather than rent someone else’s.

Today’s product is convenient, cheap, and shallow. If you’re one of the millions with an Underdog account, event contracts on games, hurricanes, and Fed decisions are a tap away with a flat 2¢ fee. If you’re choosing a dedicated trading platform from scratch, the 27-state footprint, Trustly-only withdrawals, and modest market depth argue for starting elsewhere.

Regulation and Fund Safety — 7.5 / 10

Underdog Predict contracts live on Crypto.com | Derivatives North America — the CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization (the former Nadex) that also powers OG and Fanatics Markets. Underdog’s app is the front end. That’s a legitimate federal framework with real fund protections, one layer removed from owning the exchange.

The Aristotle acquisition changes the trajectory. Underdog now owns a CFTC-registered DCM and DCO of its own, acquired March 9, 2026, and plans to list and clear its own contracts natively. Until that transition happens, we score the structure that exists: a solid intermediated model on proven infrastructure, in an industry where roughly a dozen states are actively litigating against sports event contracts. Notably, Underdog’s footprint avoids most of the contested states.

Market Selection — 6.0 / 10

Sports-first: NFL, college football, NBA, and MLB event contracts. The 2026 additions are what make the slate interesting — global geopolitics markets, weather contracts tracking hurricane landfalls, and macroeconomic markets like Federal Reserve rate decisions. That’s broader than ProphetX or Novig, narrower than Kalshi or the CDNA siblings, and there are no full election markets yet.

Fees — 6.5 / 10

Simple and fair: roughly 2¢ per contract, flat, with zero deposit and withdrawal fees. Like OG’s flat model, it beats Kalshi at mid-range prices only barely and loses badly at high-probability prices where Kalshi’s formula fee approaches zero. One genuine annoyance: a $4/month inactivity fee after 18 months dormant — set a reminder or close the account if you stop trading.

Liquidity and Execution — 5.0 / 10

Underdog doesn’t publish volume for its prediction product, and no independent data exists. Major sports contracts trade adequately; the newer geopolitics and weather markets run thin. As with the other CDNA front ends, there’s no visible order book depth. Fine for casual position sizes, limiting for anyone trading meaningfully.

User Experience — 7.0 / 10

The pitch is the app you already have. Prediction markets sit alongside Underdog’s fantasy contests in one interface with one wallet, and the product inherits Underdog’s polished, consumer-friendly design. The flip side: it’s a feature inside a fantasy app, not a trading platform — no advanced order types, no depth display, and the market discovery experience is built for browsing, not analysis.

Deposits — 6.5 / 10 | Withdrawals — 6.0 / 10

Deposits via debit card, Apple Pay, and Trustly bank linking, $10 minimum, no fees. Withdrawals are the weak link: Trustly only, 1–3 business days. No PayPal, no Venmo, no wire option. Free and reliable, but a single rail with no instant option.

Tax Reporting — 4.5 / 10 | Customer Support — 5.5 / 10

No published tax documentation practices for the prediction product; track your own P&L (our tax guide shows how). Support benefits from Underdog’s established fantasy operation — reviewers describe it as responsive, which clears the low bar set by this industry, though there’s little prediction-specific track record.

Who Should Use Underdog Predict

Good fit: Existing Underdog fantasy players — the integration is genuinely seamless; casual sports traders in CA, TX, FL, GA and other non-sportsbook states; anyone curious about weather and Fed markets with small stakes.

Look elsewhere if: You want depth and breadth (Kalshi), exchange mechanics with back/lay control (ProphetX), or you’re outside the 27-state footprint.

Common Questions

Is Underdog Predict the same as Underdog Fantasy?

Same app, different product. Fantasy contests are skill-gaming regulated state by state; Predict contracts are federal CFTC-regulated derivatives listed on Crypto.com’s exchange. Your wallet is shared; the legal frameworks aren’t.

What did Underdog buy from Aristotle?

The Aristotle Exchange DCM and DCO entities — the CFTC registrations — from the parent company of PredictIt. PredictIt itself was not part of the deal. The acquisition lets Underdog eventually list and clear its own contracts instead of routing through Crypto.com.

Does Underdog Predict have politics markets?

Geopolitics and macroeconomic markets, yes. Full US election markets, not yet — Kalshi remains the main regulated venue for those.

How does Underdog compare to OG and Fanatics Markets?

All three route to the same Crypto.com exchange. OG (6.7) has the broadest funding options and markets; Fanatics (6.2) adds FanCash rewards; Underdog (6.3) wins on app convenience for its existing user base. See our OG review and Fanatics Markets review.

Is Underdog Predict Legit? How to Check for Yourself

Every review on this site separates what we verified from what we didn’t — because “is Underdog Predict legit,”
“is Underdog Predict reliable,” and “Underdog Predict Reddit” are the questions readers actually search, and most review
sites answer them with vibes.

What we verified ourselves (as of July–August 2026):

  • The Crypto.com | Derivatives North America exchange listing behind Predict contracts
  • Underdog’s acquisition of the Aristotle Exchange CFTC registrations (March 2026 announcement)
  • The ~2¢ flat contract fee and Trustly-only withdrawal rail from Underdog’s documentation

What we have not verified:

  • Prediction-product-specific support quality — most published feedback concerns the fantasy product
  • Tax documentation for Predict — not published

How to check reputation yourself: Underdog’s website is underdogfantasy.com, with apps on the App Store and Google Play (search “Underdog” to download). Reddit discussion lives in r/UnderdogFantasy — mostly fantasy players, with Predict threads growing. Trustpilot coverage reflects the fantasy product, not Predict; read it for company-level payout behavior only. When reading either,
weigh recent, specific complaints (withdrawal timelines, support responses) more heavily than star averages —
old reviews often describe a product that no longer exists, and competitors’ fans post on everything.

Can you actually make money on Underdog Predict?

Yes, in the same way as any prediction market: buy contracts below their true probability and you profit at settlement. It is real-money trading, zero-sum minus fees — not a bonus scheme. Whether you make money depends on your edge, and most casual traders should expect modest results.

What is the difference between Underdog Pick’em and Underdog Predict?

Pick’em is Underdog’s fantasy product — you pick player stat over/unders against a fixed payout table under state fantasy-sports rules. Predict is CFTC-regulated event-contract trading at market prices. Same app and wallet, completely different products and legal frameworks.
