PredictionScout Score: 6.2 / 10
Fanatics Markets is the sports merchandising giant’s bet that prediction markets are the next consumer trading product. Launched December 3, 2025 as a standalone app (separate from Fanatics Sportsbook), it reached 24 states and four US territories by July 2026 — a footprint built deliberately around states without legal online sports betting, including California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia.
The structure is a broker model: Fanatics acquired Paragon Global Markets, a CFTC-registered introducing broker, and routes customers to Crypto.com | Derivatives North America — the same regulated exchange and clearinghouse that powers Crypto.com’s own OG app. What Fanatics adds is brand, a surprisingly broad market slate (politics included), and FanCash rewards on every trade. What it hasn’t added yet is liquidity, human customer support, or fees that compete with Kalshi.

Regulation and Fund Safety — 7.5 / 10
Fanatics Markets is real federal-framework trading: contracts live on Crypto.com | Derivatives North America, a CFTC-registered Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization with registrations dating to 2004 (the former Nadex). Fanatics’ own role is as introducing broker — Paragon Global Markets, LLC, a CFTC-registered IB and NFA member.
The broker-model indirection is why this scores below Kalshi and ProphetX, which own their entire stack. Your relationship runs through an intermediary to an exchange owned by a different company. That’s a normal structure in futures markets and doesn’t compromise fund protections, but it adds a layer, and Fanatics Markets is only seven months old. No state enforcement action specifically targeting Fanatics Markets surfaced in our research, though the industry-wide state-vs-federal fight (roughly eleven states have issued cease-and-desists against prediction market operators) is unresolved.
Market Selection — 6.5 / 10
Broader than any sports-brand competitor: twelve sports categories including an official FIFA World Cup 2026 hub built with ADI Predictstreet (FIFA’s official prediction market partner), plus crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL), politics, culture, economics, and company events. Politics is the notable inclusion — FanDuel Predicts still won’t touch it.
Depth is the issue. Market counts within each category run well behind Kalshi, reviewers consistently describe niche markets as sparse, and there’s no search function to navigate what does exist.
Fees — 5.5 / 10
Under the official schedule effective June 29, 2026, trading fees range from $0.0034 to $0.0275 per contract per execution — you pay on the buy and again on the sell. Contracts priced 20–80¢ pay a flat 2.4¢ per contract, more than Kalshi’s ~1.75¢ taker fee at 50¢, and dramatically more than Kalshi at high-probability prices where Kalshi’s formula shrinks toward zero and Fanatics’ fee only tapers near the extremes. Single-contract orders carry a 1¢ minimum, and total order fees round up to the next cent.
Funding costs are standard: ACH free, debit and Apple Pay up to 2%, withdrawals free. The partial offset is FanCash — up to 10% back on trades during the World Cup promotion, win or lose, redeemable for merchandise, tickets, or future trades. Rewards don’t change the underlying fee math, but for Fanatics ecosystem users they’re real value no competitor matches.
Liquidity and Execution — 5.0 / 10
Fanatics doesn’t publish volume, and no third-party data exists — itself a signal. Reviewer consensus and our own market checks point the same direction: headline sports and crypto markets trade adequately; nearly everything else is thin, with wide spreads on culture and politics contracts. Like its exchange sibling OG, the platform doesn’t surface order book depth. Until CDNA’s venues attract Kalshi-scale flow, price-sensitive traders should work orders carefully.
User Experience — 6.5 / 10
A clean, sportsbook-familiar interface with live in-event trading and real-time pricing. iOS users rate it ~4.6★; Android trails at ~3.7★ with bug complaints. Missing table stakes: no search function, no demo mode, and — per multiple app reviews — no way to reach a human in support. Whether full web trading is enabled is unclear; the site displays live markets and account functions, but Fanatics’ own materials emphasize the apps.
Deposits — 7.0 / 10 | Withdrawals — 7.0 / 10
Deposits: ACH (free, instant, $10 min), debit card and Apple Pay (instant, up to 2% fee), wire ($1,000 min). No PayPal or Venmo — a surprising gap given FanDuel offers both. Withdrawals are free on every method: debit card 2–3 business days, bank transfer 3–5 days, roughly $5 minimum, wires reserved for $10,000+. Not instant, but consistent and fee-free.
Tax Reporting — 4.5 / 10 | Customer Support — 4.0 / 10
No published tax documentation practices; assume minimal forms and keep your own records (see our tax guide). Support is the loudest complaint in app reviews: a bot handles everything, with no human escalation path. For a platform custodying real money, that’s not acceptable, and it’s the lowest support score we’ve given a brand of this size.
Who Should Use Fanatics Markets
Good fit: Traders in California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and other non-sports-betting states who want regulated event trading with a familiar brand; Fanatics ecosystem users who’ll actually spend FanCash; World Cup traders who want the official-data hub; casual traders who value interface simplicity over depth.
Look elsewhere if: You want the deepest markets and lowest fees (Kalshi), exchange-style trading with back/lay control (ProphetX), or you live in one of the ~26 excluded states — including every state with Fanatics Sportsbook.
Common Questions
Why isn’t Fanatics Markets available in my state?
Fanatics deliberately launched Markets only where its Sportsbook doesn’t operate, avoiding regulatory conflict with state gaming licenses. If you have Fanatics Sportsbook, you won’t get Fanatics Markets — and vice versa.
What’s the sign-up promo?
As of July 2026: up to $150 in FanCash via daily matched trades over your first 7 days, a $500 FanCash tier for trading $10,000+, and a $250,000 World Cup sweepstakes pool. No promo code needed; terms change often.
Is Fanatics Markets the same as OG?
They’re siblings, not the same product. Both route to Crypto.com | Derivatives North America’s exchange and clearinghouse. OG is Crypto.com’s own app (49 states, 18+); Fanatics Markets is Fanatics’ broker front end (24 states, 21+) with FanCash rewards. See our OG review.
Does Fanatics Markets have politics markets?
Yes — politics, culture, economics, and company-event contracts alongside sports and crypto. That makes it one of only two sportsbook-brand platforms carrying politics (the other being OG on the same exchange).

Is Fanatics Markets Legit? How to Check for Yourself
Every review on this site separates what we verified from what we didn’t — because “is Fanatics Markets legit,”
“is Fanatics Markets reliable,” and “Fanatics Markets Reddit” are the questions readers actually search, and most review
sites answer them with vibes.
What we verified ourselves (as of July–August 2026):
- Paragon Global Markets’ CFTC introducing-broker registration and the CDNA exchange relationship
- The official fee schedule effective June 29, 2026 (fetched directly)
- The current FanCash promotion structure from official terms
What we have not verified:
- Trading volume — Fanatics publishes none
- Whether human support escalation exists — app reviews say no
How to check reputation yourself: Fanatics Markets is a legit, federally regulated product from a real company — the app is separate from the Fanatics retail site people usually search. Reddit discussion is thin so far; r/sportsbetting threads are the best current source. Fanatics’ Trustpilot reflects the merchandise and sportsbook businesses; there is no Markets-specific profile yet. When reading either,
weigh recent, specific complaints (withdrawal timelines, support responses) more heavily than star averages —
old reviews often describe a product that no longer exists, and competitors’ fans post on everything.
What is the welcome bonus for Fanatics Markets?
As of mid-2026: up to $150 in FanCash via daily matched trades over your first 7 days, a $500 FanCash tier for high-volume traders, and World Cup promotional sweepstakes. FanCash redeems against merchandise, tickets, or future trades. Terms change frequently — verify in-app.
